Tackle sunspots, signs of aging, and redness, all without the fuss of surgery.

Aging, sun damage, genetics, and hormonal changes take a toll on your skin. When topical solutions fall short, and you'd rather steer clear of major surgery, IPL offers an effective and non-invasive path.

IPL gently targets and minimizes skin issues like sun spots, uneven pigmentations, and unwanted hair growth. Its powerful light penetrates deeply to clear, smooth, and refresh your skin until it glows.

How it works...

IPL, or Intense Pulsed Light, gently targets and minimizes your skin’s imperfections. It sends bursts of broad-spectrum light deep into your skin, which gets absorbed by pigments like melanin (for sunspots and hair removal) or hemoglobin (for blood vessels). This energy then breaks down these problem areas, leaving your skin looking clearer and more youthful.

Why we love it...

IPL is like a magic eraser for your skin imperfections! It can fade away sunspots, banish unwanted hair, and even minimize redness caused by blood vessels. Plus, it's non-invasive and relatively quick, making it a favorite for those seeking effective skincare solutions without extensive downtime.

Pre- & Post-Treatment Tips

  • If you wear makeup to your appointment, we'll need to remove it before your treatment.

  • You'll experience some redness and possibly some darkening of pigmented spots. Keep this in mind if you schedule your treatment hours before a big event.

  • You'll notice dark spots rise to the surface of skin within 24-48 hours. That's totally normal. Let them flake off on their own. (This should take about 1-2 weeks.)

  • Avoid Retin-A and other cream exfoliants for at least a week prior to your service. You should also avoid sun exposure – we can't perform this service on tanned skin.

  • Limit sun exposure and wear a sunscreen. It's necessary help protect skin – and also preserve your results.

  • Your skin may be mildly red and warm after treatment, similar to the feeling of a sunburn. Ice packs or cold compresses are recommended.

What Can I Expect At My Treatment?

At your IPL treatment, you'll feel a cool gel applied, followed by gentle pulses of light from the IPL device. You might feel a mild warming sensation, like a rubber band snap. The session's duration varies by the treated area, and you can usually go about your day afterward with minimal downtime.

Is Treatment Safe?

You bet! IPL is generally a safe and friendly choice when performed by skilled professionals. Just keep in mind that you might experience a bit of temporary redness, swelling, or changes in skin tone. We make sure you're well taken care of and informed throughout the process.

Does it hurt?

Most people describe the sensation as a mild rubber band snap or a warm, tingling feeling. It's generally well-tolerated, and topical numbing creams are sometimes used for sensitive areas to minimize any potential discomfort.

Can I Go Back To Work After My Treatment?

Absolutely! After your IPL treatment, you can typically head back to work or resume your daily activities. You might have some mild redness or swelling, but it usually fades within a few hours to a day.

How many sessions are needed for full results?

The number of IPL sessions needed varies, but people often see significant improvements after just one treatment. However, a series of 3 to 6 sessions, spaced a few weeks apart, is often recommended for the best results.

How long will my results last?

IPL results can last several months to a year (or longer!),  but it can depend on individual factors like skin type and sun exposure. To extend the benefits and long-lasting results, we suggest scheduling occasional maintenance sessions.
